Our Policy Regarding Safety and COVID-19

As we prepare and adapt to a life and society of the New Normal, Japan Mobility understands the necessity of being vigilant in our practices to best maintain the safety and health of our customers, ourselves, and our community.


This is particularly prescient for accompanied services where we guide our customers through necessary activities required when moving or residing here in Japan.


Japan Mobility takes the following precautions on all accompanied services.

  • Consultants wear a mask for the duration of all out services and any in-person interaction with clients/assignees.
  • Clients/Assignees are asked to wear masks for out services and in-person interactions. Masks can be provided if necessary. Clients/Assignees should be informed in advance. If they do not have a mask upon arrival, one can be provided to them. 
  • Consultants do not shake hands or make other physical contact to greet clients/assignees.
  • For shared car travel, clients/assignees sit in the back seat while the consultant drives. 
  • Consultants check temperatures in advance of all services. Those with temperatures above 37.5°C cannot participate in the service.
  • Clients/assignees temperatures are checked at the beginning of each service where accompanied travel (e.g. same car) is required.
  • Vehicle interiors are wiped and sanitized before and after services.
  • Consultants wash hands before and after each service. 
  • Consultants and clients/assignees sanitize hands before and after each segment of a service, e.g. before & after each property viewing, etc.
  • For forms and paperwork, each person, clients/assignees & consultants, will use their own pen. If clients/assignees do not have their own pen, one will be given to them for their exclusive use.
  • If it is necessary for consultants to make contact with client/assignees personal items, (for cleaning, etc.), gloves are worn and hands are washed before and after.
